HHC
HHC, or hexahydrocannabinol, is a cannabinoid that was first synthesized in the 1940's by a scientist named Roger Adams using a method called hydrogenation. Although also found naturally in hemp, this is the most common route of curation of the HHC molecule. Through this process, he was able to modify delta-9 THC's molecular structure into what we know today as HHC.
HHC Flower vs Hemp Flower
The differences between HHC Flower and Hemp Flower are night and day. Hemp flower is more of a therapeutic or medicinal option, in contrast to HHC Flower, which is becoming a popular option for recreational purposes in the alternative cannabinoid scene. Similar to Delta-8, Delta-10, and THC-O, HHC is known for it's psychoactive properties.
Although research on HHC's recreational potential is limited, it is said that it is nearly as strong as Delta-9 THC, if not higher.
